Affiliations
The Alpentänzer Schuhplattler was also a founding member of the Westbezirk, a regional organization of Vereine from the Western US and Canada and is a member of the Sacramento Folk Dancing Federation.
Affiliations
Since 1994 the Alpentänzer Schuhplattler has been a member Verein in the Gauverband Nordamerika, a grouping of about 100 Bavarian and Austrian folk dance groups from the United States and Canada. The Gauverband Nordamerika holds the purpose of preserving the Bavarian and Austrian cultures, dancing, music, and Tracht.
